Inspect the ground: soft mud, sand, wet fill and prepared subgrade behave differently. Ground protection mats do not replace ground assessment or a designed foundation.
The listed 1220 × 2440 mm solid mats have thicknesses of 12.7, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 and 50 mm. Thickness alone is insufficient to assign a universal safe load. Send equipment and ground details for a project-specific proposal.
For a stationary crane, select outrigger pads using the maximum reaction force per outrigger and allowable ground bearing pressure. Total crane tonnage is insufficient. The hollow-core panel is a different product and uses mechanical handling.
